I think it can be fairly described as a shooting break (at least Wikipedia thinks so), which is really what the article is about.

Anyway, I believe the "SE" in the Scimitar SE5 and SE6 stands for "Sports Estate" (or something like that), so if the Scimitar is an Estate the Elite is too!
