Compomotive Essex wheels?

Hi there, I got talking to a really helpful and friendly pair of guys on the lotus stand at the Nec on Friday about the wheels that I have on my lotus elite, they thought they might be front compomotive Essex wheels of an espirit? The chap mentioned that if they were 15" wheels they would have a good market price if I was to choose to sell them. However, looking at the wheels the tyres are r14's but the actual rim size of the wheel is 15" when measured to its outer most edges? Does anyone have any idea what size they are and what the valuation would be if they are 14".many thanks

They will be 14" if that's what size the tyres are. Wheel size is not measured to the edge of the external face.
No idea on values, though.
