Door seals

Post by Slurpysi »

Hello

i have just purchased a 1988 Excel SE in desperate need of new door seals.

I know this has been much discussed on this forum, but can someone recommend where to get suitable replacements ordered today ? many of the previous suggestions are no longer available.

Thanks

I got a pair from SJ. They aren't perfect (U channel isn't as deep as the original), but do have the correct 90 degree join.

Is it the silver-ish one with the uneven door frame gaps that was for sale recently in Newcastle? (possibly not - I think that one was a non-SE with 160bhp IIRC). If so, that one also needs new door frames (and beams) going by the account of one viewer.
