Radiators Fans wanted

Post by swiftcruiser »

Hi,
Due to misfortune the terminals have broken off on the motors, would any one be able to sell me a radiator fan motor, am looking for 2. Happy to pay a fair price and postage.
Lotusbits have as usual been very helpful and searched the bins but nothing around for moment. May have to purchase one of their cooling kits, local car breakers only have modern Fiestas!! and surprisingly nothing on ebay !!

Thanks
Robert

Have two originals 1 works the other not but you may be able to repair .
Your most welcome to them, postage from au to you at your cost.

Hello,

After a 1700 mile blast around France one of my rad fan motors has seized on the way home whilst being stuck on the M25. think the car was on protest about the UK roads!

Has anyone used the aftermarket rad fans from Lotus bits? if so how easy are they to mount etc?
or any good fans going?

thank you

Dave

Lotusbits replaced one of my radiator fans some 7 years ago. They replaced like-with-like. I.e. it was the same as came from the factory (Ford Fiesta?), rather than another type of fan.
It's still going strong and has never been a problem.

Unfortunately, lotusbits did not have any like for like.

I know it’s not always going to be possible to keep the car going with original parts but while there is still some around I would like to keep it as close as possible.
I see SJ Sportscars have some on their website so have dropped them an email
