Original Radio in a 1987 excel

does anybody know the brand & model lotus has used for the radio in 1987?

if anybody of you have one for sale --> please sent me an offer.

even a non-working one is considered, as long as it looks perfect.

I have the Clarion CRX91R which came out of my 91. Not sure if it was available in 87? The radio works - never tested the casette and had remote CD Changer control built in. It has a slightly wobbly preset button but is still in tact. Has an ISO plug recepticle in the back. Back of radio chassis has some rust on it but not visible once installed. I'm in Germany, so the shipping wouldn't be much. (Near Kaiserslautern). If you determine it's a good fit for you, I'm sure we can find an agreeable price.

My 85 SE had a Blaupunkt Boston fitted. There is a thread on radio codes that suggests that a Clarion unit was used 86-88, see http://www.lotusexcel.net/phpbb/viewtop ... f=7&t=3688.
