I need a replacement door handle for the driver's side. Mine had previously been subjected to a bodge repair by PO & appears to have given up the ghost at last.
Anyone got one kicking around somewhere?

Re: Drivers Door Handle
Toyota spare part. Got new from either Sj sportscar or Paul Matty just a few years back. Easy to replace too.
I changed both sides to be at the safe side in the future.

Re: Drivers Door Handle
I believe they are Toyota MT2 Mk1 (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) handles, in which case you might find the part you want from

Re: Drivers Door Handle
Close, it's the Celica Supra, up to '83 (I think it's '83, or it may be '84, the ones pre-revision), and it's the reverse side, so you'd want a Passenger side handle for a Celica Supra '83

Re: Drivers Door Handle
Andy, does that mean it's 'upside down' on the Excel compared to the Celica/Supra then?

Re: Drivers Door Handle
Yes, the key hole would be near the bottom when used on the Toyota.
