Is the water pump common to any other engine apart from a lotus?

Only 900 series Lotus engines (including Jenson Healey and Lotus Sunbeam).
If you want a bomb proof easily obtainable water pump upgrade then fit a Davies Craig EWP80.
Here are details of the conversion I did in 2006. Still going strong today.
