Does anybody have a useable SE header tank they'd be willing to sell, mine's full of filler! It's too far gone to repair, tried Lotusbits but none available at the mo. Would like to get the car back on the road as soon as poss.
cheers
Mike

Re: Header Tank
I have a spare. Good condition EXCEPT one of the three bolts broke off when I removed it. It still fits OK - I had it on the car for a couple of years with only 2 bolts before I saw a cheap replacement on EBay.
It is otherwise in good condition, having been cleaned up, re-sprayed etc.
It would certainly get you back on the road.

Re: Header Tank
One of the bolts on mine had broken off. I simply drilled and tapped a thread, inserted a bit of threaded bar with a few mm extra going towards the tank then used a separate nut to clamp down and lock the threaded rod in, then it's pretty much back as it would be.
