89 on excel wanted

Wanted, late Excel SE or SA.

I'm looking for a superb example, not fussed on colour (although white, red and green would be favourite)

Aircon would be nice but not a deal breaker

I'm willing to pay top money (but not silly money eg: the one on car&classic for 10k which I consider to be way over priced in the current market.)

I'm willing to travel for the right car.



Judging by the limited amount left on the roads I think I might have a long wait

There's a white one on Pistonheads been there for ages, not sure how "superb" it is, doesn't look bad from pics, but the price leaves a lot of room for improvements. He could be up for a deal.

Thanks for that, I've looked at the one on Pistonheads, really I'm looking for something original with FSH or evidence of fettled ownership if you know what I mean. I've owned one previously (13 years ago!) that only had 25k on the clock when I bought it and it was great, but,these cars can get expensive if there not well maintained especially as they are now 'old' cars.

That looks in fantastic condition, you may be able to negotiate on price due to only recent history, but looks as if its been looked after with what you can tell from pictures?

Also there is a corking looking Essex blue on ebay, tho its a '87...
