woke the excel after her long summer sleep
couple of weird things
the hazard flashers work but the indicators dont ????
I had to change the column stalks ...broke them taking the dash to pieces could there be a duff connector ?
Also when I switiched off the side lights stayed on until I flashed the headlights without the ignition on ..the pods came up (without the headlights on) and the pods came down and everything was off ...??
normal ?

Re: gremlins
lights seemed to have sorted themselves out..
the indicators were a missing fuse ....there are two circuits ,both fused for the flasher circuit
One last problem were the windscreen scooshers traced to a dodgy pump connector
but wierd thing was when I took the scoosher bottle off for bench testing there were two pumps
one doa and the other ok
these lotuses...... dont you love 'em
almost ready for the MOT now....
