I have the following Excel spares for sale. These are all genuine new Lotus parts, in their original wrapping, and fit an ’89 SE, but may also fit other versions:

I have an 84 Excel which has large bore exhausts, which I presume come off a later model.
Bore is 60m inside diameter. Tailpipe length approx 240mm. Have some images, but not sure how to
upload. If size is near e-mail me and I will send images. I work in Hemel.

Hello there David,
'scuse my ignorance but is item 2 a cable / lead? and does it pass directly underneath the carbs? as I have a problem with a bad connection in one of the connectors there.
A photo would help, if you have one.
I'm visiting Hemel soon, next week I think.

Yes, just picked up your PM thanks, saying you've already sold it, I include some of it here for the benefit of others:

Just for information, it was a black lead from the amplifier on the inner wing to the distributor. One end had a black male/female plug, and the other end two separate connector plugs, plus an earth connector, as the lead was screened against interference. These leads often give problems with poor connections, which was why I bought it to carry as a spare. They are expensive - I think I paid over £20 for it, and that was over 3 years ago!

...and that was the cable I need! ah well.
