Cheap oil - be quick!

Post by Steve C »

www.opieoils.co.uk currently have 4 x 4 litres of Castrol Edge Sport 10w/60 (replaced RS10w60) for £106 including delivery if you have a member discount code. (Just go to pistonheads, search for Opie and sign up for a member code).

Works out at £5.27 a litre .. pretty good!

I have no interest etc etc .. just a repeat customer - they have every other oil you can think of .. castrol EPX 80w-90 GL5 for diff £4.79 a litre and EPX 75w/80w GL5 for gearbox at £4.79 a litre.

These are sale prices for next few days!

Argh, sorry, you need to search in the forums, this is easier ..

http://www.opieoils.co.uk/Members_request.aspx

Just enter Pistonheads as the club and your pistonheads forum id .. (create one if you haven't got one!)

Thanks Steve

I've joined pistonheads, then registered with Opie then they sent me a reg number but I have failed to log on with Opie, I'm being a bit thick at the mo!

I'll try later.

I think you need to register with Opie too .. but they ask for your unique membership number that they gave you.

OK done it!

10/60 Castrol on it's way.

I would have liked to have ordered an oil filter at the same time but I think I'll give SJS a call in the morning for that...to make sure I get a genuine Lotus one.

Thanks for the link Steve...I'll probably use them again if it works out.

My 32 litres of RS 10-60 arrived today, along with a box of gearbox and diff oil! Should keep me going for a couple of years :-)

Does anyone know offhand what the fluid capacities are for the diff and gearbox?
