Chassis change?

Well - body is off after trying to suspend the chassis on the brake pipes
I had to remove a cam cover and drop right side engine mount to get clearance - engine mounts old and dropped?

I am looking to do work on the cills and under the body - can it be sat on floor and jacked to 45degrees for this - I can't see why not but best to check.

Changing to Galv chassis -
Buying suggestions for springs and dampers please - looking at standard not uprated

Yep - fine to jack up the shell to work on underside. The thickness of the shell varies enormously - by design - so be careful of where you jack it. Normal safety precautions - don't get squashed under it!! Sounds like good progress.
