Door switches

Need the drivers and passenger door switches as bought a full leather interior but didnt get the switches with it, the interior is from a 89 excel which i have fitted to my 83 excel hopefully getting her back on the road for the summer fingers crossed

A small point - but the window switches on the earlier cars are not in the doors and are a different type to the Maestro/Montego switches used on the post-facelift cars.

It also seems the later style swtich isnt wired the same as the earlier ones.
Issue with the switch illumination bit powering the window up.
Lots Of Toyota Usually Supra?

Yes i know i have had to re wire the dashboard as i had old smiths clocks changed them to fdo so will be rewiring the door switches as well

Take the opportunity to modify the wiring to take a more modern switch. The Maestro/Montego variants are in short supply, but there's a commonly available switch of a similar size with one fewer contacts which should do the job.

ISTR it's used on Land-Rovers.
