Boot lid decals. Correct colour for year ?

1988. Excel SE. Calypso Red. If I want to replace the decals on the boot lid that I removed for reprinting; what colour should the decals be. Am confused as their was a coach line but that was a silvery grey but I think the badges could have originally been white !
Whilst making this enquiry what width should the coachline be.

I can only see pre 86 strip width as 3mm. Nothing listed in my book after that

Mine is the same year and colour as yours. The decals are gold but some what faded as you can see. Expect all calypso red cars didn't have same decals in 1988.

Thank you for photo, now I am confused, mine had a sort of grey coachline, and faded white rear decals, yours has gold decals, no rhyme or reasoning, seems what was to hand !! so looks like a free hand or perhaps leave them off !!

GREY, RED, SILVER, BLUE or GOLD were the colour options around '88 according to parts manual for the stripes. White, red, Blue, Silver or Gold for LOTUS. With White/Grey or Red/Grey Transom bar.
