Re: Engine bay stickers
I know LotusBits have some of the stickers - I supplied the template for the expansion tank sticker and Mike had some new ones made up that very day by another business that has a small office on the same site as LotusBits.

Re: Engine bay stickers
mine is no longer there as i removed it to repaint, but i think it was an asbestos warning sticker.
mine is an earlier car so maybe the later cars did not have them.

Re: Engine bay stickers
Perhaps we should archive engine bay shots of original versions...early Excel, 86SE, 89SE, SA etc ?
Mine is an 89SE with original paint ...I think all stickers are present, but it would be nice to compare to be sure.

That sounds like an excellent ideaLotus-e-Clan wrote:Perhaps we should archive engine bay shots of original versions...early Excel, 86SE, 89SE, SA etc ?

Re: Engine bay stickers
These are the stickers in the engine bay of my '91 Hethel.
This group are on the front of the driver's side inner wheel arch:

And this compliance label is on the back left, on top of what would be the pedal box area on a LHD Excel:

Apologies for the slightly tatty engine bay.
This would have been a useful post if you could add images, glad I went to all the trouble of taking the pics and re-sizing them....
