The Lotus Grand Tourers

Both my seats can have the backrest moved several inches forward in loose travel when empty. is this normal? I know the passengers side is probably knackered as it 'auto reclines' when not in use

presumably the best bet is a pair of new seat reclining mechanisms as any s/h parts could be similar?

Definitely not normal - and possibly a point for failure at MOT time.

You've just reminded me that I have a recline mechanism here that I need to strip and refurb (if possible) for a tech. article.

is it as simple as it looks to swap out? those two bolts?
