Purge pump relay & discrepancies

According to the parts manual the purge pump relay is the same type as the rad. fans and a few others. According to the wiring diagram - it's a changeover!
(changeover makes more sense in context).
No wonder there are so many electrical "issues"!
(Trying to work out a neat way of putting in a delay timer for the purge pump).
