Should I be worried?

Leaving work started the car and flicked the headlight switch, nothing for a second then interior lights followed by pods and what felt like ages later by the main beam by which time i was resigned to catching the bus!

I have noticed over the last week or so that the headlights are taking longer to come on especially first use. When I got home they came on almost immediately time after time.

So is it just the cold or am I about to be left in the dark. Car being used 2/3 times a week at present so this could be a problem.

try a simple answer first. pop out the switch remove the multipin plug from the back and spray the internals, and the multi pin, with contact cleaning fluid, then operate switch a few times. then reassemble and test . if ok test again 12 hours later to see if problem has gone.
