Hello,
i have done a full restoration on my 1988 EXCEL SE.
Everythings works fine, but the radiator fans not.
I gave the fans direct 12Volt and they are ok.
I bypassed the otter switch but they don't kick in.
There is 12Volt on the green cable at the otter, but the black/orange cable that
goes to the relais under the steering colum shows at the relais only 0,6Volt.
Were are the missing 11,4Volt gone?
In the wiring diagram is a diode visible.
Could this diode the faulty point and were is it located?
Thanks for any help.
Regards Harald.
Fans will not kick in!

Job done!!!!
The murder was the diode in the Otter switch circuit.
This diode is in the green cable that feed the Otter switch, situated in the ftront footwell.
Cheers Harald!!
