Earth Points

I am trying to fix an electrical problem on an Elite 1982 2.2 There seems to be a high resistance earth between the dash and the engine bay causing some gremlins with the interior electrics. Has anyone got a layout of all the correct earth strap positions, or know where they should be? I have a normal wiring diagram but it fails to show location points.
