All went dark this evening.
Is there a anything special I have to check?
or just standard checks of fuses and supply.

Rheostat on the centre console too. Some have been known to melt and burn out.

Thanks for the quick response

I did not smell anything but is there an easy way to get to the rheostat?
Or do I have to dismantel the lower console panel?

Not very easy - but if you can prise the radio out, the rheostat is just about accessible through the slot and from the footwell.

I have checked the fuse nr 9 and there is 12 v on them.
I suppose the only thing between the fuse and the lights is the rheostat.

I have located the trouble area.
Its a bad contact behind the instrument cluster.
When I push on the dash the light goes on.
I have retracted the instrument cluster to search the problem but do not know where to look first.
Since it is all the lights or none I suppose its on the + side and not a bad earth or could I be wrong.
I see that every bulb has a seperate + wire and a - wire.
