The Lotus Grand Tourers

Washing the car today and noticed that the front reg plate was just about hanging on. It is held on by double sided sticky pads so I pulled it off completly. As I did, a bolt fell out of a hole in the center front of the car (usually covered by the reg plate) see picture below. I could see a threaded hole at the bottom of the larger hole so screwed it back in but what is it holding on? It falling out dosn't seem to have effected anything.

I believe that it is part of the front bumper fixing.

Yup - that's the bumper centre fixing bolt.

there are another 2 behind the indicators bolted from inside the headlight pods plus some smaller ones where it meets the bottom of the wing

Nah, it's where the starting handle goes, mate.

I have taken the forums advice as always and drilled a hole in the reg plate so I can get the stating handle in Will contact Mike Taylor to see if he has any spare handles
