is there a list anywhere of every bulb type used on the car? (and where?)

eg: headlights = h4
side lights =?
indicators =?
brake lights=?
rear lights=?
reversing light=?
front fogs =?
rear fog=?

interior lights=?
elec window switches=?
push buttons on dash=?

etc..?

Page 55 of my Owners Handbook lists the following:

Headlamps 60/55 watt H4
Sidelamps 5 watt SU 8.5-8 (standard sidelamp bulb)
Front/rear indicators 21 watt BA15s (standard indicator bulb)
Stop/Tail 5/21 watt BAY15D (standard stop/tail)
Front Fogs H3
Rear fogs same as indicators
Reversing same as indicators
Number plate, door edge (if you have them), interior and boot 5 watt same as sidelamps
Clock 2 watt BA7S/11
Speedo/Tacho 3 watt BA9S
Instrument/Fascia/Heater controls 1.2 watt W 2 x 4.6D
Tell Tales 3 watt W 2.1x9.5D

spot on, thanks, reason for asking was that im looking into changing them all for LED equivilients if possible as my lights are total pooh... (will clean them all up at the same time)

Just wondered how you got on with finding LED replacment bulbs, any luck?/ any good?

Still havent got round to this yet, but i am resuming the hunt in Jan, http://www.mr-resistor.co.uk and http://www.ultraleds.co.uk should cover all the required bulbs, failing that Ebay should have any missing ones :)

Edit: http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/ list the excel and all bulbs which is handy!

£151.82 to change all bulbs (inc fogs but Excl. Headlight H4s) to LED versions, and add 100%+ H4 bulbs... thats expensive but would look interesting!

Can you change the indicator bulbs for LEDs, or do they need a resistor to be compatible with the indicator unit?

you can, they do direct replacements for about £15 a pair
