Front speakers up grade

All
My front speakers were blown so wanted to change the units, but wanted to keep the speaker fronts. I managed to get the old ones out, (they are kind of glued in) and then set about trying to find replacement units. It worked out to be a lot harder than I first thought. After some searching I found some speakers by IN PHASE they were 3" 2 way. I spent no stime in shoe horning them into the plastic brackets I got them in OK and door cards back on. On playing the radio I was really disappointed with the sound it lack dimention mid range and were under powered compared to the ones in the back. But due to the time take to fit them left them in.
A few weeks on I went into Halfords to buy a satnav and found some JBL speaker in the reduction bin. To cut to the chase they are the biz. They are 3 1/2" GTO327 grand touring series. They put out a great sound for their size and went fitting they "clicked" into the lotus speaker grilles. Result!
