Headlight pods

Post by robertverhey »

Hi all

Does anyone know whether Elite / Eclat headlight pods are the same as Excel (in my case '86 SE?). I butchered mine a couple of years ago to fit some Golf headlights and I'm wanting to revert to originals now....

There appear to be acouple of headlight pods on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lotus-Excel-Eclat ... 286.c0.m14
The Lotus Parts Manual has a specific Excel number e.g. A089B2364K ( the '89' means Excel, plus the part number changed to a B version for the 1986 model onwards) - so its not clear to me.
Not sure if this helps :-(
