I have a few bits and pieces but mostly worn out rather than defective or failed. I mean for the Excel, not me
The Hackett Beaujolais run was a great charity event (well done Angus!). Are there plans for a 2008 charity event within the forum? Donington could be a good launch opportunity.

With Angus out of the loop, I have emailed Alan Morgan to confirm arrangements, and as you have seen from another topic Alan is already reserving a space for us.
We need ideas, cars for display (about three) and I have requested the reserved parking area again.
Chris' suggestion about a charity is good. Any ideas?
Cars on display are normally expected to be in situ through Saturday and Sunday. They cannot be moved when the show is open.
Pictures, posters, etc. welcome. Chris,, any chance of borrowing the display boards again, please.
Volunteers please - cars and stand manning - time is short.

Had a very prompt response from Alan Morgan - should have the same spot as last year, pole position just inside the entrance.
We need to confirm spaces required in the reserved car park - convoy in again? Please let me know when you are coming - Sat/Sun.

Sounds good. Assemble by 9.30, convoy into reserved area, ready for doors open. Meet in the museum car park again?
Still looking for ideas, cars, etc. for stand.

Hi Alan

I’ll be there  , probably with my daughter Shannon. Won’t be able to come till Saturday so won’t be able to help setup unless we can get in early on Saturday morning  .

Do you want me to bring a projector and laptop again?

Do we have any material to make a CD or has any one got a copy of the excellent CD used @ the last show?

Is there any thing else we may need?

Is there a portable / offline version of the forum we could use on the screen as an idea of something we could do on the stand?

Yes please to the projector, etc. Chris. Can you come both days?
I'll see about the "film" if I can.
We can get in on the Saturday morming but all engines have to be off when they prepare for opening. If I remember right we have until about 9.30 latest but I would suggest a bit earlier.

I will have both Excels there - the SA will be on Lotusbits stand and the Green SE will be displayed for sale and I will be doing the track day with Lotus on Track in the Elan Turbo 8)

The logistics of this is a nightmare involving multiple trips, trailers and a fourth car........ :D

Hopefully it will be fun

Martin

Alan,

I've still got the laminated A4 sheets we used on the poster boards last year, history of the Eclat/Excel etc.

Only problem is, I may only be able to make the Sunday this year. I'll confirm this with you in the next couple of days and if needs be I'll post the laminated sheets to you so that you have them for saturday.

Hi Mick, good to hear from you. That would be great.
Looking forward to seeing you again.
If you need to post I'll PM you with my address.

Hi Alan, Yes, I think that the weekend has been booked in the family diary. Does anyone want to put their car on the stand? I can probably put mine on but there were some very nice examples at Stoneleigh that deserve more attention. Posterboards should be fine. Do we want to produce any more material to put on them? I can have one or two A1 posters printed if needed. I was wondering if we wanted to prepare any give-aways - Excel logo'd balloons or pens might be fun :D . Best regards, Chris
