If I book early with the boss, I should be there. How does 'featured models' work? Are they going to sit on the cars again?

I've just e-mailed Alan at Club Lotus to see how we can support the event (maybe a stand again + a draw or auction to support the Beaujolais run?)

I asked Alan if we could do anything to help - and if we could have a stand.

Here's the response

"You certainly can - I'd planned to contact you in mid-Aug when I get back
from holiday (we're off tomorrow) to discuss how you'd like to be involved
but you're ahead of me!!

I'm more than happy for you to have a stand at Stoneleigh and the idea of a
fundraising/prize draw for the Beaujolais run is fine as well (how about
writing a feature on the event for CLN?).

I'm not sure how big the stand can be as we've less room than at Doni but
I'll be able to confirm that nearer the date. We can also allocate you a
dedicated undercover parking area so you can all park together providing you
can supply someone to marshal it first thing. "

I suggest we use this thread to co-ordinate attendees and contributions. I can bring the video kit again with a new version of the DVD including some track action and the factory promo video. + ANYTHING ELSE THAT ANYONE SEND ME - INCLUDING PHOTOS.

As I'm fairly local to the venue, I'd be more than happy to marshall or help out on the day.

Let me know what's required or needed.

Should be able to make it this year. Will be on the hunt for a radiator. Be glad to help in any way.

I can bring along poster boards and we could add the material that has been posted to Steve's Benani website if Steve is OK with this. I can get A3/A4 copies laminated for on the boards and additional copies for distribution. Let me know if this seems useful.
