B089M0464J : RH
B089M0463J : LH
I have a pair from a Toyota MR2 sitting in my garage if you want one/both.
Need cleaning, but seem to work OK.

On the general subject of motors, anyone know what car the very late window motors and mechanism comes from.
All the earlier motors were fairly big heavy things, about 10cms square, but one of the motors on my '89 SE, is more modern, smaller gearbox, about 4cms.And more efficient.
Any ideas.

Motor :
Esprit of similar age
Based on what I can see on e-bay tonight it looks very Toyota MR2/Celica-ish.
I have one spare in the garage, but haven't needed it yet. I found the cause of my sticking passenger window eventually. The grub screw use to take up end float on the "axle" has a graphite end. This had shattered, leaving a sharp "dip". After sanding it down, the window seems to be running fine (well enough to cope with the peage on the Autoroute in France for nearly 2000 miles)

Thanks for the offer, I need to check a couple of local places first but if I don't have any joy I'll get back to you. Incidentally what's the 'crack' with ordering parts still available after the parts sale? Do we still use the original order form/fax number or go direct to aftersales? I know people have ordered parts but I can't find the threads....sorry!

AFAIK the parts sale is still on - hence the revised list we were sent a few weeks ago. (Check the "Lotus Suipport" thread for details :

Re: Parts sale ordering, I called my nearest 'stealer' and they sent an Email. They then confirmed the part had arrived at theirs and I picked them up. All very easy. Didn't need the form. Think it's also possible to order through Club Lotus but you then pay P+P
