Just been put through an MOT after 12 years off the road and passed :D

Good :
New Radiator
New front brake callipers
New GAZ shocks all round, with rears being adjustable
Front and rear suspension rebuilt
New cam belt
New Battery ( 3 yr warranty from Halfords)
4 new tyres
Oil and filter change
Replacement fuel pump
New passenger door beam
New headlight units
new bonnet gas strut
Carbs tuned and balanced
Lots of paperwork from previous owners

a box of spare parts.

Not so Good:
Lacquer peel in several places - could do with a respray really
interior shabby
drivers window a little stiff part was down
speedo not working - only noticed when took for MOT
Not sure if the power steering is working, but not really needed whilst driving.

£3200 ono

Early narrow body Excels like this are 'right' in many ways to my eye - the value of all Excels will benefit if these early Excels are expertly restored. Hopefully someone with a lot more money than the asking price will see it too and get this one properly restored. They deserve respect IMHO. Good luck with the sale.
