How do I remove front bumper or spoiler on its own if possible

Removing the spoiler involves drilling out the rivets that hold it to the bumper (look at the top of the radiator grille hole) and unbolting the hidden fixings from inside the bumper at either side. If you're lucky, they'll unbolt - more likely the bolts will be rusted and the brackets will tear out of the flimsy bit of GRP that bonds them to the spoiler.
For the bumper itself, there's a bolt behind the number plate and a few screws that go through the bumper into the body at various points around the inner edge.
Section 10.23a of the Parts Manual gives a better clue for the bumper.
