Personally I'd rather see what u are doing than the people who rip the soul out of the Excel by removing/changing the engine for some other manufacturer ( not a dig at you Kieran, you have well proved your support to the excel)

Look forward to seeing the final result.
My sentiments exactly. Rescue of an otherwise scrap vehicle only fit for parts (if any) is always better to make into something better and more interesting.
I saw this one on another forum and quite liked the way it was heading.
It has to be the Essex colours all the way.

I regularly upset people with my projects. Although I do tend to leave the body mostly original  :P
Something from the norm... Keep it up.

Please the Shorty with the ESSEX Theme 8) the proportions do look right like Angus advised with the other Winterbottoms drawing line of the TVR which should have been the later Élan...

And with this colours it would be unique in every single way. Go ahead :)

I am running late due to illness... (Kidney stone... ouch) but the car is almost ready for the fiberglass work. It's just too cold for now but soon the temperature should rise around here and I would be able to mix the satanic plastic. I will take pictures next weekend to show you what our cars are really made of. It's interesting me think!
