Do we have any progress on this yet, Angus?

Still collecting names - we're getting closer to the magical figure that will trigger production though.

Thanks Angus! Will be patient! Going to be sanding back my drivers door frame this weekend. It's begining to look bad so a bit of "Kurust"/filler and paint should hopefully keep it going until the new ones are available!
John.

Same here :(

I think the "go/ no go" decision will happen after the NEC show in November.

We only need another 5 or so to make it worthwhile, but not everyone is on this forum.

Hi Angus,

Will need a pair next year, but can commit now if it helps move things along.

Are these now available from Lotus bits, as door tops for £180?

Are these difficult to fit yourself

I have a drooping door that i want to sort out at some point, probably this coming summer

If the frames are a realistic DIY job, i'l do that at the same time

Frames are easier than doorbeams - as long as you don't mind fiddling around with the shims.

We still need a few more names (3 or 4 should do it) to convince the manufacturer to go into production.

Hi Angus,

Please put me down for 2 frames as well: 1 passenger side, 1 driver side.

I'm finding filler increasingly depressing...

Thanks,
RobB.

I'll probably want a set for the gold one as well, I've repaired one frame today but new ones that fit and don't rot would be an excellent addition..

Update - the company which will be making these is having some problems with a new piece of equipment, but should be in a position to start manufacture soon.

I've spoken to Mike about it and he's now persuaded to start production as long as we have more than 25 sets on the list (I think we do). I need to count up again and let him know ASAP.
