HiQ are currently offering SP9000 215 50 15 which have become available through them, but at a premium. £187 approx per tyre fitted. Ouch
http://www.hiqonline.co.uk/tyres/fitmen ... ypass=true
I spoke to my local branch of HiQ who confirmed that they where available.

after a call to blackcircle.com enquiring after 215/50/15 and being informed no chance lol they did offer an alternative toyo tr-1 in 215/45/15 now seeing as 205's lower the ride height by 0.02 inchs the 45 profile only lowers the height by 0.04 inchs . does anybody have an idea how theyd effect the speedo reading?,as this does seem an acceptable alternative to me .

205/50 are 1.7% too fast
and
215/45 are 3.6% too fast
speedo-wise that is.
You don't need to go to 215/45.
205/50s are all you need on an Excel

Pirelli P7000
Well if they dry and wet grip anything like Dunlop sp9000..... then these look to be a good option.
How come not easily available over here in 215/50/15?
Are they out of production?

Just looked and black circles have a lot of options on the 205/50 size since their new website has been fully launched, but nothing at 215. They have the p6000's listed but not the 7000s, dunlop sp sport and a good looking yoko available as well as the toyo's, but the latter are significantly cheaper!

Thought I would try Roger's reference to MyTyres (above) with SP9000s at £122.10 each including delivery.
Fitters are available, but I don't need them on just yet, so I ordered some on Monday for delivery home, price as above, and this morning they have told me that they have been despatched.
I will keep you posted.
