That looks a great job Jason. Mine isn't too bad. The bolts are tight and no cracks around them. I have a very fine 4 inch crack on the left hand side and what I thought was a crack on the right is actually some matting lifting. Looks like they strengthened the one corner at the factory with extra matting which has lifted on the edge. Will cut off the loose bit and re apply with new matting. So shouldn't need too much.

Tanz, when you get to doing your boot fibreglass remove the three rubber supports for the fuel pump before laying up the repair as you need to get close to the original fibreglass in this area. You may find the support bolts rusted in to the backing plate, if necessary cut the supports down until you fully remove them even though this might be tedious and you may need to rethread the back plate.

Dave the cog.

Car now back on the road. I bought the West System repair kit and there was more than enough in the kit to do the two repairs. There wouldn't be enough if you had to repair it right across from one side to the other (like Jason) but as I only had two cracks to sort out it was enough.

The big test was reversing off the drive - I would say the creaking noise was reduced by 90%. Still a little bit which might be the suspension - not sure.
