Looks very good quality frames. feels more rigid then my original frames, higher torsional strength of the profile.
Paint finishing looks top an matches the OEM matte black.

In short A MASTERPIECE.

I do not know how you arranged it all Agnus.
Your a genius!!!

Will fit them as soon as possible.
First have to resolve some problems in the "boiler room" :(
I just spotted that Hans has christened Angus "Agnus." I suppose henceforth he will be known as "Agnus Dei" for his work on the windowframes, for: Lo! he did smite the rust and the swollen channels, and didst cause to be fashioned a suitable replacement.

agnus dei translates as lamb of god, what ever he may be the procurer of window frames is not a lamb.

Latest batch of new Elite, Eclat & Excel window frames is ready, early! I'll collect them next week and contact those who've ordered to check shipping arrangements for January delivery.

Taking orders for the next batch now.

Well I was surprised!

I received the February 2017 issue of Classic & Sports Car yesterday, and on p169 (in the 'Garage Gear' section) there is a short piece, with picture, about the window frames! There is a nice little write-up about the original supplier still having the jigs and making them.

Great publicity from a great publication!

Hurrah! I knew they were going to run a little story, but haven't been able to find a copy of the mag. here yet. James Elliott is a big fan of Elites and his online blog really led to the final success.

Bauer Media are also supposed to be doing something in at least one of theirs.

From memory : https://www.coh-baines.co.uk/products/F ... annel.html is probably a better match than https://www.coh-baines.co.uk/products/F ... annel.html (Both are the correct shape).

When Brian S and I did the first set, we found that the larger channel, although matching the dimensions of what Lotus put in there, caused the windows to stick due to increased friction.

As a result, we put my old channel back in since we didn't have the smaller one available to test.

If you can wait a couple of weeks, I'll see if I can get a sample to check.
