I was intending removing the rear quarter lights to allow removing the rear trim pieces above the window to hopefully get the best finish to planned respray.
Has anyone removed these? Any tips?
I have found out the lower rubber trim/seal is no longer available, so can’t damage these. I have found mine are bonded with the original solbit that should soften with a current passed through - anyone done this?

I removed a couple of front quarter lights from the frames by connecting to a battery. It worked well, if a little smelly!

Re: Removing rear quarter light window bonded with Solbit
I removed the rear quarter light glass on the drivers side this weekend, it had been redone, so no solbit, and I could cut it out. The passenger side one has solbit, so will try a battery on that side - the rubber trim was not stuck to the solbit though, but maybe because it has been removed for repainting in the past. I think I have bought some more rubber for mine, but can't be 100% sure - seem to think it was very similar to the outer trim on the door glass??? There should/could be a very close generic available??

Re: Removing rear quarter light window bonded with Solbit
Thanks guys.
I will attach a battery to it this weekend and see what happens. Hopefully just smells and smoke without fire!
After removing the B post exterior plastic trims I was able to see the end of the lower trim/seal. It is U shaped with a tail if that makes sense and fits over the bottom edge of the glass, so should only be stuck to the glass and hopefully will just come out with the glass.

Don't forget to put some tape or something on the glass to stop it falling out when you're distracted!
I think the rubber may have some adhesive sticking it to the glass, but mine came off easily, but as mentioned was removed at some point in its life.
