there is a Peak District run which has been going for many years.......
and something you can do in your own time and at a speed you choose
and you're not just following someone
on the following weekend..........30th June

just in case anyone is interested.......

It’s called being part of the club. And considering there are a group of 12 from all over the country who’s only real chance if meeting is on this run then that’s why we do it. We come from Newcastle and some of us are up from Southampton so popping to the Peaks is not feasible

I didnt know MLOC had club members from so far away.......
I tend to use my local club........
of if its a specific type then attend where we decide annually.........without the need for any more than one type to attend.......
have you tried setting up a local meeting?...LDC...CL...TLF.....NYLOC......
did you go to Hethel and meet others last year?.......
dont foget the Donington days.......or MBW .......or the international festival.....Brand Hatch etc.....

each to their own.....hope you have a great day

Hey Jerry He's right, we should set up our own local meet. Do you happen to know of anywhere local to Portsmouth, Newcastle, Birmingham, Nottingham and Aberdeen? I'm also concerned that for the last four years attending LITP we thought we were having a great weekend, turns out we've just been following other cars around :?

 I remember someone who doesn’t seem to appear on here anymore oncevsuggest that Milton keens would be a good place to meet as it was the centre of the uk, if I remember he was systematically scolded. I think if we take Scotland as well then Angus ‘s house is about halfway.

I wasn’t sure how to take that post as he obviously isn’t aware that the weekend is a lot more than following others.
Any way I’m looking forward to it the following and all.

I know this is a bit late but are we assuming that we'll all be able to eat at the hotel on the Saturday night?

As U know a few of us will be there on the Friday so if it’s ok with the rest we’ll check out the eateries and then make a decision. I think there is another pub in the village so gives us a bit of choice
