Pinstripes and logos

Post by carlp »

HI,
My Excel has just been resprayed and I now need to replace the logos (and pinstripes if the car ever had them). does anybody have a copy of the page from the workshop manual showing which logos go where and what I need. My manual is for a 1986 car where there were logos and pinstripes on every corner. When I bought my car there were only a couple at the back, but the car had been resprayed in the past..
It's section BC around page 24?

Thanks
Carl

Is this a quest for absolute originality? If not, then try leaving all the 'make-up' off it's pretty face for awhile. You may find that it looks best without the adornment. If that doesn't work for you, you can always apply all the make-up at a later date.

To add pinstripes or not that is my main ‘ quandary ‘ ? I think they look better on darker colours, but I think I will do what you suggest. Anyway the car is coming back to me without any stickers so I will just add the ones at the back and then decide ... I do quite like originality as well ...
