Carburettor float cover

Post by Alan_M »

I'm looking for a float cover for the carb. I don't need any of the bits that are attached to the cover, so a bare cover will be fine.

Last weekend I took them off to set float level and found someone has previously done a bodge job of trying to repair one of the posts for the float hinge pin. One half of the post is moving allowing the pin to rattle about.

Thanks

Yep. That’s where it’s broken.

I've spoken to eurocarb and they don't have any, but they are sure they can get mine repaired. Only problem is they need it for a few weeks, and I have quite a bit booked with the car over the summer, so may have to wait for a bit.
