Radiator lower duct

I started the restoration of Excel and I noticed that the radiator is not fix properly at the bottom, I do not know if radiator duct undertray must also hold the lower part of the radiator.Do you know how is fixed the radiator? I do not know how it is done, there are no other excel in Italy.
Unfortunately now the car is at the body shop and I can not control, and I don't remember but probably I have not the duct panel.
I also disassembled the rear lights ,on the right light there is a small light bulb, on the left light there is a plastic cap.Do you know what is it?

If I recall correctly the under tray is needed to hold the radiator lower bolts. Some one will correct me.

The rear lights have 5 positions. Only 4 are used on the Excel as standard, 5 are used on the Esprit. It sounds like one side on yours has been replaced with a fitting in the 5th hole.

You can use this if you want to as an extra brake light. Uprate the fuse if you do.

I can confirm the lower bolts of the radiator frame fit through the undertray. I got mine with the undertray in the boot, and did notice the radiator could move a bit, but nothing to worry about. I've since fitted the undertray (after a bit of a battle with rusted bolts and spinning captive nuts) and now it's a lot more stable.

if I want use the bulb do you think is better with stop light or drive light only?

I prefer extra stop light. Here is my dabble.

I have moved my FOG light connection to the small 5th hole and linked the "old" FOG light as extra brake. You need to double the fuse from 2 to 4 amps

It's a good mod. Have you also fitted an in-dash brake tell-tale light (lighting-up the interior)?
