Saviour wanted

Post by Hawaiis0 »

Hi Guys

I'm looking for someone looking for a project - no breakers need apply

I know of this car previously mentioned, not mine

Image

and would like someone to save it. It is a late 1990 SE full leather (excellent); rotten door frames, shot headlining, delam screen stood for ages outside under a cover.

You are bidding against the scrap value. If you offer more than a breaker you are most likely in with a chance.

It is not a quick fix - maybe 3 days in the NEC with a crack team might win the best show display on a worked car :D :D .

Clutch is seized, tyres square, all the bad things to expect.

PM me if interested. It's located in the south west near Chelts. I dont have direct access

Update.

Lots of nice non-breaker types interested in the old girl.

Note, as mentioned, I am not the seller but trying to secure the car from the POs family. Like all sellers they are looking for the best deal so my/our hands are tied. Communication is slow and a family friend has also enquired, so expect to be disappointed.

The reason for not disclosing too much info is because I am trying not to give the breakers a chance give away on location.

Possible problems to consider.

Collection - if successful we will have to deal with square wheels, seized brakes and clutch to move it.

Due to interest, Who get's it? - if we secure first dibs on the purchase. I will offer it in order of your messages and intent - Phantasm need not apply

It stated with a kiss....

A new love affair has begun. Got out early to start pumping tyres and smashing out some seized brake pads. Two ropey northern types eventually pitch up and I think it was love at first sight. Not me  I'm quite ugly. :P Any way the old girl sits on tattered tyres and moved - well man handled, for the first time in 6 years.

Loaded her up and said bye. Stand by for a new blogg

Safe journey chaps.

Strange.. I read the poster name as a consonant, vowel and two consonants plus v8 and my head linked the two and said it was Dunc.
Thought Dunc had bought another one on the sly and was keeping it locked away quietly AGAIN
It's the way my head works with patterns

Congrats anyway Bash. Does this mean, you are finished with the white one, or is it a side project whilst continuing with the RV8?
