E Tech DIY Wheel Repaint

Post by KevW »

If anyone is thinking of getting their wheels refurbished I can thoroughly recommend the E Tech alloy wheel re-paint kit. I went for this option as I wanted to avoid powder coating.

The kit I bought included three cans of silver, one etch primer and one lacquer. It was more than enough to paint four wheels and cost about £26 delivered.

The wheel on the left is original factory finish and the wheel on the right has been painted with the E Tech kit.

Looks good, nice one.

I'm also going to have a go at painting mine rather than powder coating, but leaving the edges bare to polish up a bit like the Celebration models. I'll post piccies when done.
