Flywheel for sale

Post by smithersoli »

Lotus excel se (912) manual flywheel and clutch cover. Good used condition, ideal for a light skin and lightening if you are planning on having your engine out in the near future. Been stored for a year so very light surface rust but nothing that wire wool wouldn't fix and some elbow grease. Currently on eBay, would accept offers through the forum as a priority though.

Am afraid this has gone to another forum member already. Not sure he is using it immediately, so if you are in desperate need, he might be prepared to part with it.

No, no hurry.

It was for the racecar project, so probably wont be needed for another 10 years!

Get a lightened one, it makes a hell of a difference. Try mike Taylor at lotus bits, or Gary kemp on eBay. The turbo esprit steel light one is what I have on mine now!

Yes, the plan would have been to take some out of it with a lathe.

Although I realise Kemp and Lotusbits both sell light ones.
