WANTED: Door handles for 1986 Excel SE

Hi All

Would anyone have a pair of 1986 Excel door handles (Exterior) they can sell me please? They should be working bits and not stuffed!

Someone has super-glued mine some years ago and they have started to fall apart and are not repairable.

Thanks for the lead. I think I may have sourced some here in Oz up in the Hunter Valley about 2.5 hours from here - hopefully a lot cheaper.

I hav'nt started looking yet....but my drivers door suffers from the same problems as discussed here. May have a look at it if we have another quake and the roads are buggered and we cant drive......not kidding either. I Will drop you a line if i come across a truckload of them....%$#@ Just complered a Davies craig water pump setup. Great stuff & definately the way to go. You should be able trade one for a slab of export as they are made in Melborne.

Unfortunately all the door handles have gone to the scrap heap in the sky. I put an ad on Partslocator for a Celica part and only got one reply. He can supply me with one and I'm not sure it's the correct side yet until I get it.

I had previously read all there was to read about door handles on this site.

May be you can do a search in The Land of the Long White Cloud.
(Please have some commiserations after thrashing us 1.5 weeks ago!!)

Hi Alastair, Thank you 4 the commiserations.......However i believe Robbie Deans phoned home to his farm manager with instructions to put a new battery in the jetboat (141 hamilton 773) as he ''May'' be home soon. We all know what that means.....??? He doesnt live all that far from me (as the crow flies) and it sounds as though he may be back on the tractor and rounding up the cows with Quade Cooper soon unless he a rabbit up his sleeve. However, Without Carter booting them over it may have been a different story as there wasnt all that much between them at times.
Ahh... yes..... now where was i..? Door handles. I see there are a few celica's & supra's regulary at the local pub........? I'll get back to you, how many do you need?...LOL
