I fitted a VDO immobiliser and remote locking to my '87 SE. Bought cheaply on ebay. Replaced those awful factory fitted actuators with some powerful ones from Jaycar, and now have immobiliser on 3 circuits (starter solenoid, fuel pump and one other, can't recall). And the benefits of remote central locking. An easy DIY mod, albeit fiddly....lots of time in the Lotus position under the dash and A pillar panel. Robert
