Fixing rear spoiler to bootlid - flathead M8 bolt

Post by NickC »

Where my spoiler (later model 89MY onwards) attaches to the boot lid the outer fixings are flat-head M8 bolts. There are just like standard M8 bolts but with the head turned down so that it is only about 2mm thick. These are positioned such that they press against the boot rubber so I guess the idea is to stop any water leaks and perhaps to prevent them from destroying the boot rubbers which would happen if standard head bolts were used instead.

Any idea where I can buy these, one of mine had to be drilled off. The parts manual just lists them as standard M8 bolts.

Thanks,
