Flowlock fuel valve/solenoid

For all those wiring gremlins we love, this is the place to discuss them.

Flowlock fuel valve/solenoid

Post by KevW »

I'm trying to find the Flowlock solenoid which is apparently under the centre of the fuel tank in the boot.

Can anyone please describe what it looks like or point me in the direction of a picture of one so at least I know what I'm looking for? I'm begining to think my car doesn't have one fitted. I can't even see an electrical feed for one.

Hi Kev The flowlock valve is in the fuel lines running in front of the petrol tank, if you can't see it when you remove the cover then it sounds like it has been removed. Don't worry to much mine has been running without the valve for over a year since it began to stick causing the car to run roughly. Cheers Keith

I do not have a Flowlock fitted. What I do have is a 5 inch piece of fuel hose fitted instead.
