Fitters are available, but I don't need them on just yet, so I ordered some on Monday for delivery home, price as above, and this morning they have told me that they have been despatched.
I will keep you posted.
why not get R1Rs for £95 each...

My SP9000s are in the UK (despatched from Germany) according to tracking system.
Ozzy, I take your point about R1Rs being £27 each cheaper but the Dunlop is the correct size and speed rating, and I prefer the tread arrangement for all weather conditions. I know that you believe that the Toyos are okay in the wet from your experience, but I am not sure that I want to try it. Certainly the difference between A048s (Exige) and AD07s (Elise) in adverse conditions is noticeable, however good the Exige tyres are in the dry. Around £100 saving for four tyres is not significant in the overall costs of running the car. Perhaps we'll agree to differ on this.

Glad that worked out for you. I had some from them a while ago and they send me an email occasionally. They don't always have the correct size in stock though.

Thanks fo the tip-off. My SP9000s arrived from My Tyres today - 48 hours from order to delivery. It was good to see they were made in 2009 and weren't old stock. After looking for O.E. sized tyres without success for so long I was on the point of buying some 205/50s as the tyres on my car have loads of tread but are nine years old.

I'm getting them fitted and balanced at a local tyre depot tomorrow for £10 per wheel. Strange thing is my local tyre shops couldn't supply 215/50x15 boots.

R1Rs are MUCH better in the wet than the R888s im running, and are the same soft-medium compound and incredible ammounts of grip especially on track... i will probably make a move to the R1Rs this year.

both same compound, but the R1R is still road legal after 2011...

had a passenger ride in a 400bhp GT3 Lotus Europa at brands hatch on them in the wet... they are amazing...
massive thumbs up from me, really progressive, very grippy, and generally awesome...

they are the same price as the R888, and they are available in 205/50/15 (front) and 225/50/15 (rear), as opposed to the R888 which you can actually get in 215/50/15... thats the only downside. R1Rs are the way im going next, they are just excellent.

Ordered 4,Dunlop Sp9000 from Mytyres at £121 each on Friday and expect them this Friday, Easter having got in the way. I don't know how good the tracking is but it looks like they are on the E30 just outside Osnabruck just now.

I don't know if things have changed at BlackCircle.com but I ordered a pair of SP9000's from them last September. £160 for the pair, delivered and fitted at a local garage all in!

As you might know from my other postings I am also hunting for tyres. Profile Tyrecenter in Valkenswaard (a small town nearby my place) informed me today that SP 9000's were still available. Unfortunately the production date was too old for their liking. Happily they have been informed that a new run of tyres will be produced. These should be available for delivery in 2 to 3 weeks. I'll keep you informed.

I saw Ozzy's remarks about the toyo's and read enthousiastic reactions on other forums but... the Profile Tyrecenter mechanic asked me if it was for track days (several of his customers used the tyres in that manner). I replied that I would like to attend track days but that 80 % or more of the driving would take place on the normal road under all kind of circumstances. He said the Toyo R1R's were very good tyres (especially in the dry) but would be lacking in grip in the wet.
Since grip in the wet is, for me, of paramount importance (e.g. fuel consumption, wear, noise are of no importance to me and even handling in the dry is far less important) I think I will follow his advice and buy the right size tyres i.e. the Dunlops. There is of course also a certain kinkyness involved... British tyres on a quintessentially British car. :P
