1990 SE For Sale

Post by peterweston »

Sadly after years of fun the Excel has to go.

Taxed, MOT Mar'11. This is a classic sports car, a real head turner and a fine example of the marque. The car has benefited from a new re-trimmed interior in part leather and grey cloth and the exterior is in excellent condition. Mileage 145K and still running strong. The car has just had a full 'C' service (cambelt replaced)with genuine Lotus parts. Tuning has been completed yearly by a specialist auto-tuner who has kept the ignition and carb balance in proper tune.
Very good tyres all round (Dunlop SP9000 fitted less than 1000 miles ago).

The car is HPI clear.

The car has also had the following fitted:

Stainless Steel exhaust system (from manifold)
New steering rack
New radiator
New drivers window lift motor
Re-furbished OZ alloy wheels
Front discs and pads
Front adjustable shock absorbers
New Front Discs and Rear handbrake shoes

Asking price £4500 o.n.o.

Well It's half right then!

Much depends on where you go as ever with these issues. You could give Nick Fulcher a ring, he did the dashboard, refurbed the leather on the centre tunnel, door cards and rear side panel. I'm sure he would be able to quote you for changing the material for full leather. He also re-trimmed the carpet on the back parcel shelf. He and his son Steve are

That looks mint. 8)

And I was just going to add what a lovely interior it was and how much better it looks than grubby rouched leather that traps all the dirt! :? Oh well personal taste and all.
I am an EX owner; I have ceased to be
